Stephen Oppong Osei Tutu is a Ghanaian advancement and global programs strategist committed to building institutions that are both impactful and sustainable. With a foundation shaped in the Ashanti Region and refined through KNUST and international academic collaborations, he operates at the intersection of institutional growth, global partnerships, and strategic execution.Stephen has led multinational academic and professional immersion programs, facilitated cross-border university collaborations, secured project funding, strengthened alumni integration systems, and driven digital engagement strategies that expand organizational reach. A disciplined systems thinker with a heart for community impact, he combines operational excellence with visionary leadership, building structures, empowering people, and positioning organizations for long-term relevance and global influence.
My vision is to build systems and institutions that create lasting global impact through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and people-centered innovation. I am driven by integrity, disciplined execution, and collaborative growth, believing that sustainable change happens when strategy is matched with structure and service.I value partnerships that cross borders, ideas that challenge convention, and continuous learning that sharpens perspective. Whether advancing institutional development, coordinating international programs, or fostering community engagement, I am committed to building legacy-driven work that empowers people, strengthens organizations, and creates measurable, long-term impact.

My professional journey has evolved from foundational administrative leadership into strategic program management and institutional advancement across global platforms. Beginning with strong operational roots in logistics coordination, office systems, and digital engagement, I steadily expanded into international program execution, partnership facilitation, procurement strategy, and institutional growth initiatives. From my work at KNUST in advancement and alumni relations to leading multinational immersion programs through Enchanted Links and ICAND Caribbean Social Work, I have coordinated cross-continental teams, strengthened funding pipelines, facilitated MOUs, and driven engagement strategies that position organizations for long-term sustainability. In today’s rapidly changing global environment, I operate at the intersection of strategy, systems building, and social impact, continuously adapting, innovating, and executing with precision to deliver measurable results across diverse sectors and borders.
Since January 2022, I have served in the Advancement and Alumni Relations Office at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where I support the strategic engagement of one of Africa’s most influential alumni communities. In this role, I operate at the intersection of administration, alumni strategy, and institutional advancement. I coordinate high-level engagements involving university leadership, global alumni chapters, corporate partners, and national figures, contributing to major initiatives such as alumni summits, industry awards, mentorship dialogues, and endowment conversations. Beyond core administrative coordination, including executive scheduling, reporting, documentation, and committee support, I contribute to the planning and execution of flagship alumni events that have drawn thousands of in-person participants and significant global virtual engagement.I support alumni data management, digital engagement strategies, and platform growth, helping strengthen the University’s connection with alumni across industries and continents. I also oversee digital touchpoints, including web and social media presence, ensuring consistent storytelling, visibility, and stakeholder communication. Through structured engagement and data-informed insights, I contribute to improving alumni participation and institutional partnerships. Internally, I support and mentor administrative staff within the office, fostering efficiency, professionalism, and a culture of excellence. Externally, I represent the Office in alumni and corporate settings, engaging directly with stakeholders to strengthen relationships that advance the University’s long-term vision. At its core, my work is about connection, connecting alumni to their alma mater, industry to academia, and relationships to opportunity.
From August 2023 to present, I have served in progressive leadership roles at Enchanted Links, LLC, rising from Logistics Coordinator to Program Manager and now Executive Program Manager. In this capacity, I oversee strategic program development and international execution for ICAND Caribbean Social Work initiatives across the Caribbean and Africa.I lead cross-border program coordination, manage institutional partnerships, supervise logistics operations, and collaborate with academic and community stakeholders to ensure culturally grounded, ethically structured global engagement experiences. My work spans program planning (Ghana, Tanzania, St. Croix), financial coordination, participant preparation, risk management, and operational oversight. Additionally, I support communications strategy, digital engagement, and internal team coordination, bridging logistics, programming, and impact to advance ICAND’s mission of developing globally conscious social work practitioners.

In a pivotal role as lead facilitator, I orchestrated the visit of students and faculty members from Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the U.S., organized by the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Africa Education Coalition (HAEC), to KNUST. This initiative culminated in the establishment of crucial Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), underscoring my commitment to fostering educational collaborations and impactful initiatives.

Honoured to be recognized by Prof. Mrs. Rita Akosua Dickson, the amazing first female Vice-Chancellor of KNUST, during her visit. Her commendation of my work at KNUST underscores our shared commitment to advancing education and fostering impactful collaborations. This moment reaffirms my dedication to contributing meaningfully to academia and educational leadership, inspiring continued growth and innovation.
Through support from the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK’s Alumni Community Engagement Fund (ACEF), I had the privilege of leading a session on “My (Youth) Responsibility for a Sustainable Future.” The focus was on how simple, everyday choices can collectively drive significant progress toward sustainability. The students were remarkable, full of creativity, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to change. Their energy was a powerful reminder of why community engagement and youth empowerment remain central to building a better future for all.
This workshop brought together professionals committed to fostering strong alumni communities that drive meaningful change. One of the biggest takeaways from the workshop was the power of intentional engagement, ensuring alumni networks don’t just exist but thrive through collaboration, mentorship, and sustained support. It was inspiring to exchange ideas with like-minded individuals who are working to build transformative and inclusive alumni networks across different regions.
